The pilgrim route Conques - Toulouse
From Aubrac to the Lot Valley, the GR 65 goes through Aveyron passing though beautiful countryside and exceptional heritage sites. (The route from Puy - Via Podiensis).
This section of the route Jacquaire Conques - Toulouse, offers you the chance to go though Cransac, Aubin, Peyrusse le Roc, the Bastide towns of Villeneuve and Villefranche, Najac and Cordes sur ciel (GR 62b - GR 36).
The route from Villefranche-de-Rouergue, allows you to pass through sites with important relics and historical sites: Sainte Cécile in Albi, Notre Dame in Rabastens, Saint Sernin in Toulouse.
Villefranche-de-Rouergue was an important transport and economic link, seeing many passing though or looking after travellers in its hospitals, where their needs, their faith,or the journeythey chose, have left their traces, visible and invisible, in the stones of the town as well as the town's collective memory.
The route, dotted with Roman churches, in Aubin and Montbazens, crosses throughpicturesquevillages in the lower Rouergue, and allows you to discover the Rouergates Bastide towns.

Our rooms have been fitted-out in the old Hospital Saint Jacques, which formerly welcomed pilgrims. This historic building, which adjoins the Saint-Jacques Chapel (XV century), classed as an historic monument, is an ideal place for a well-needed rest, which is comfortable and in the centre of the historic Royal Bastide town of villefranche-de-Rouergue.
We offer a double room ora room for 4 people, with private sanitary facilities. In the communal areas, you will find a place to wash clothes, an area to hang out and dry your washing. There is also adrinks and snacks machine available...
